Student Life

At Amerigo Chicago North Shore, students can continue their learning, pursue their interests and develop leadership skills by taking part in a wide range of extracurriculars and athletics. Students at Carmel Catholic can get involved in Fine Arts (including choir, band, Art Club and theater), one of the school's 48 athletic teams or join one of the more than 40 additional on-campus clubs, including Robotics Club, Writing Club, Model UN, Film Club, Math Team, Bowling Club and many more.

The School Day

Amerigo Chicago North Shore students experience robust, enriching and intellectually fulfilling days. Weekdays are filled with academics, extra-curricular activities and English language learning support while the weekends are filled with fun and interesting activities, opportunities for recreation, and rest and relaxation.

Parent Communications

The Amerigo Chicago North Shore team provides regular communications to the student’s network including their Agents, parents and/or guardians. The communications provide regular updates about the student’s academic and social progress along with a monthly calendar of dorm and school activities. The Director of Campus Operations will also communicate with parents and Agents on an as needed basis to discuss student successes as well as health, discipline or behavioral issues.
