The Amerigo University Preparation Programs address the specific needs of international students, ensuring they are set up for success in university and beyond.

University Advising

Apart from the standard university counseling at each high school, we have distinct university advising programs designed to meet the specific needs of our international students. University advising includes: University Advantage, Amerigo Honors Track Program, Individualized Parent Consultations & Global Scholars Program.

Academic Advising

A vital component to American university preparation is ensuring that students make the most out of the coursework offered at school. Through the following academic advising programs, our International Department works to keep international students on track to meet graduation requirements, and aims to incorporate their academic goals and interests into the planning process.

Academic Advising includes: Pre-Arrival Course Planning, Advanced Coursework & Yearly Academic Planning and Parent Consultations.

Student Discovery Programs

Extracurricular activities are an essential part of the American high school experience. Not only do they allow students to explore their interests and discover their passions, but they are also important during the university application process, as it shows the student’s well-roundedness.

Student Discovery Programs include: Extracurricular Clubs & School Activities, Volunteer Programs, Cultural Activities, Global Career Certificate & Virtual Internships.
