Homestay Student Life
Student Life
At Villanova College, students can continue their learning, pursue their interests and develop leadership skills by taking part in a wide range of extracurriculars and athletics. Students at Villanova College can get involved in Fine Arts (including choir, band, Art Club and theater), one of the school's championship-winning athletic teams or join one of nearly 30 additional on-campus clubs, including Art Club, Chess Club, Debate, Environment and Nature Club, Ski Club and more.
The School Day
Villanova College students experience robust, enriching and intellectually fulfilling days. Weekdays are filled with academics, extracurricular activities and English language learning support while the weekends include opportunities to relax, study and connect with host families, as well as opportunities to take part in international student field trips.
Villanova College Homestay Program
At Villanova College, international students live with safe, caring Canadian host families. This is a great opportunity for students to become an integral part of the family dynamic and learn firsthand the customs of a Canadian family. The host families provide students with meals, a comfortable bedroom, transportation and more.
Additionally, international students at Villanova College have access to on-site homestay staff - including a Provincial Director, an International Student Support Counselor and an ESL Teacher - who make sure the student is happy, health and thriving.
Each month, international students will take a field trip to experience local attractions, such as the Toronto Zoo, the Art Gallery of Toronto and Niagara Falls.
