Through RCA’s academic program, students can explore their interests, discover their passions and take advanced, university-level coursework. The RCA program adheres to the rigorous British Columbia graduation requirements, including the Career Exploration Program and the Capstone project, which allows students to prepare for their future academic and career fields while gaining real-world experience.

Program highlight: Career Exploration Program
From the moment students arrive at RCA, they begin exploring future careers. Students take a Career Life Course each year, where they build resumes, take part in mock interviews and participate in Q&As with local business leaders. Students also have internship opportunities, where they gain experience working for an organization related to their areas of interest, including medicine, science, finance and more.
